The Location
Set on acres of private land with cork trees and animals roaming, Três Marias also has the villages of Porto Covo and Vila Nova de Milfontes (fishing port and the 16th Century Church of “Nossa Senhora da Graça”) close by with good dining and wide beaches. But with good walks (Rota Vicentina https://rotavicentina.com) on your doorstep, horse riding, biking and its peaceful vibe it’s as much about staying put.
This tranquility means that a car allows you to explore the nearest airports, Faro and Lisbon just over two hours away.

- 15 rooms of varying sizes (4 suites/mezzanine; 8 superior double room; 3 double room) but all stylish and minimal with great ensuites
- Larger rooms have private lounge areas but all have private terraces
- Really lovely communal spaces including large sitting and dining rooms and covered terraces
- A beautifully designed salt water pool with views across the surrounding countryside
- Buffet breakfast served and the option of evening meals, plus there’s an honesty bar
- Note, that Três Marias is in a rural area and the WIFI signal can be unstable and is only available in the common areas of the hotel
