The Location
In the vast Sierra de Aracena natural park, Molino Rio Alajar is close to the charming village of Alajar – home to some terrific dining options. It’s all about nature here; the surrounding dramatic landscape is full of excellent trails for horse riding, walking and cycling.
Heading further you’ve the Doñana National Park and it’s wildlife to discover plus the traditional and beautiful towns and villages throughout the region.
Seville Airport is a 1.5 hour drive and whilst there are buses from the city, a car is really the best way to get around and make the most of this incredible region.

Peter and Monica, originally from the Netherlands, are highly knowledgeable on this rarely discovered region of Spain (they’ve even written a local guide). They have created something special at Molino Rio Alajar and their hosting style is warm, personal but unobtrusive.
