The Location
Trullo Matteo is deep in the olive groves of Puglia giving it an incredible sense of seclusion and tranquility. Chill and soak up this rare and wonderful location. When you’re ready to explore there are small towns and villages within easy reach. Larger towns like Ostuni or Lecce are full of incredible Rococo architecture and elegant squares and plazas. Rustic and authentic villages like Cisternino offer a simpler vibe and have lovely restaurants and cafes as well as local wineries to explore.
But for a totally different experience head to the coast – less than an hour away. Crystal clear waters and great seafood abound and let you go into full on holiday mode.
Getting here by air you can fly to Brindisi or Bari and it’s around an hour by car on easy and uncrowded roads.

After spending her first 18 years in Africa, Sylvie was lucky enough to continue travelling the world both professionally and personally. When she found Trullo Matteo, she knew that she had found her corner of paradise.
