The whole estate at Palagio di Panzano can be hired for groups of up to 20 with private chefs available. It makes the perfect setting for a wedding, family event, retreat or just a get together. The configuration is perfect for multi-family or inter-generational use as everyone has their own corner but can come together when they want to.

The Location

Palagio di Panzano is close to the ancient heart of walled Panzano, in the Chianti region of Tuscany. These apartments, forming part of a wine estate, offer an opportunity to immerse yourself in local culture as well as explore this region famed for its scenery and cities. The town is smack between Florence and Sienna, both easy day trips, and has a vibrant restaurant scene as well as weekly markets and artisan shops. The winding alleyways and honey stoned walls are beautiful and its surrounded by stunning countryside.

There are buses to Panzano from Florence making it a perfect combination with a stay with Veronica at Velona’s Jungle Suites

The apartments have been lovingly crafted from buildings on the estate to blend features like exposed stone walls with modern updates

The apartments form part of Monia and Franco’s organic winery where you can sample their wines during your stay with a variety of tasting packages available
The town of Panzano is worth a visit in its own right – especially if you’re a carnivore. One of its claims to fame is that it’s home to the restaurants of famous Italian butcher/come chef Dario Cecchini
Being able to visit the incredibly beautiful cities of Florence and Siena, safe in the knowledge you can escape the hoards and head back to the serenity of Palagio di Panzano

Monia and Franco are everywhere here; not just in terms of their warm but respectful hosting but also in their passionate restoration of the farmhouse. Franco was extremely hands on with salvaging traditional features and relics from the house and he’s often to be seen tending the vines and overseeing the wine production – a background in and family of tradition of which is shared by this warm and welcoming pair.
