Trendy seaside boutique bolthole
Margate, home to some of the UK’s funkiest art and culture is now also home to this stunning seaside boutique hotel.
The Location
No. 42 Margate has views directly across the curve of Margate’s sandy beach and the sea beyond. It’s smack bang in the heart of Margate’s town centre and is brilliantly positioned to explore and experience this fun and dynamic town. There’s the Turner Contemporary art gallery a few minute’s walk, with a changing set of modern art. The other way you have Dreamland which is becoming one of the UK’s top experience and concert venues. The town has lots of independent shops, eateries and bars so you’ll not run out of places to try – although we do love Pearly Cow back at home at No. 42..
Margate train station is a 10 minute stroll from the hotel and it’s just a walk across the road to the beach. The hotel does offer a luggage collection service from the station too. You could drive and the hotel has a limited number of chargeable parking spaces that need to be booked in advance.
