The Location
The Ariège is a nature lovers paradise; walking, cycling, AMAZING birding, caving, open water swimming… it’s all here and easily accessible from Domaine de Terrac. Amongst all of this are typical French towns to explore, including nearby Rimont which has a restaurant. Foix and Saint-Girons both with weekly farmer markets as well as many historic Cathar chateaus throughout the area.
Toulouse and Carcassonne are both about an hour and a half and there are public transport options, but a car means you’re freer to explore.

- The converted barn has a wooden chalet style extension with terraces, all of which are designed to bring the outside in and make the most of this setting

- The breakfast and dinner ingredients are fresh and locally sourced and expertly put together by Barry and Jocelyn and for the evenings there’s a great regional wine list plus local artisan beers
- Five rooms, all en suite, two of which have their own balconies
