Artistic and stylish retreats

Two adjacent holiday cottages for up to six surrounded by stunning Herefordshire countryside. Intimate, luxurious, artistic and stylish, the attention to detail here is incredible and they offer a romantic and peaceful retreat for two, four or six.

The Location

Nestled in the small Herefordshire village of Llanwarne, the cottages are situated along a quiet and private lane a minute’s walk from the ruins of a 13th century church which adds to the romanticism of the location.  Farm shops and good pubs are within a 10-minute drive and you’re close to the thriving historic market towns of Ross on Wye and Monmouth and is a good base from which to explore the Black Mountains and Hay on Wye, famed for its book shops. In an area of outstanding natural beauty, Symonds Yat Rock offers stunning views of the meandering River Wye and is only a short drive away.

Recently described in The Guardian as “lovely as the Dordogne” Herefordshire is a gem of county waiting to be discovered. Three hours drive from London and one and half from Birmingham.  Closest train stations, Hereford and Newport.

Beth and Linda both work in the creative sector, Beth as a lecturer in art and design and Linda in the fashion retail sector, reflected in their interior decoration flare. Beth has strong connection to the area having been brought up on a cider farm in Herefordshire. As well as their busy day jobs, and running the cottages they also manage Furnace Projects a venture started by Beth’s father but which is now under their control and direction.
