The Punchbowl Inn, Cumbria

An award-winning country inn with rooms in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside with amazing walks surrounding the village of Crosthwaite. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, what better way to finish the day than heading downstairs to the incredibly welcoming traditional bar and restaurant?

Artist Residence Oxfordshire

Part of the Artist Residence group of hotels with their signature design-led interiors, this thatched pub with rooms is set in a picturesque village, surrounded by rolling countryside. The interiors are chic and stylish – copper baths and huge beds await you after a long week in the office, as does Mr. Hanbury’s Mason Arms, the attached pub, which serves a great menu of traditional British cuisine.

The Kingham Arms, Cotswolds

This is a truly lovely place to stay and to eat. In a ridiculously lovely village in The Cotswolds there’s a traditional bar and restaurant areas downstairs – with an open fire for winter warming – and a selection of cottage style, bright and newly renovated bedrooms upstairs. There’s an additional two dog-friendly bedrooms in the annex. Traditional. Quality. Welcoming.

The Black Bull, Yorkshire

The Yorkshire Dales are just incredibly beautifully, surrounded by Dales and Lakes and full of wide open spaces. Sedbergh sits in the midst of the Dales and is home to this much talked about culinary delight.
