The MAve Hotel

Manhattan, New York

Manhattan style

On the east side of Midtown Manhattan, in the Flatiron district, you enter the gay friendly MAve hotel from Madison Avenue into a lobby with floor to ceiling windows, white floors and chrome & crystal chandeliers, all giving a feel of space and transparency.

A red, textured wall behind the reception adds to the drama. The high ceilings in the lobby continue on into the 72 rooms located on the 12 floors above. While the plush beds invite you to stay in with a good book, the beckoning delights of Manhattan are just around the corner.

Special Offers

The Flatiron District of Midtown Manhattan takes its name from one of the most recognized and photographed buildings in the world: the Flatiron Building, an impossibly skinny building located at the intersection of Broadway and Fifth Avenue.

On the topic of famous buildings, the Empire State Building is just a 10 minute walk up Fifth Avenue. Or, if you want to take a break from all the imposing buildings, Madison Square Park is around the corner from the hotel and is nice for an afternoon stroll, squirrel watching or grabbing one of New York’s best hamburgers at The Shake Shack.

Union Square and Bryant Park are also within walking distance, otherwise nearby subway stations connect you quickly to Uptown & Downtown Manhattan as well as the rest of New York.

About The Owners

Trust Hospitality manage a small unique collection of independent hotels in North and South America known as ‘Indie boutique hotels and resorts’. All are free spirited with their own personality and offer travellers a stylish experience in a special setting.

  • A member of IGLTA and TAG approved as well, this hotel embraces their LGBT guests... as their "En'gay'ged Wedding Package" reflects!
  • Location. The Flatiron District is a bit of an oasis amid the craziness of Midtown Manhattan, not far from Times Square, Union Square and Fifth Avenue. Beautiful buildings rise around you, architecturally impressive and light up at night.
  • Complimentary HSIA and WiFi internet, as well as IHome docking systems.
  • We always do like safes that are large enough to fit a laptop or IPad.
  • An original staircase leads all the way up to the top floors and is adorned with colorful wall murals, just in case you want to skip the elevators one morning!
  • The beds! Americans like their large beds and the M'Ave doesn't disappoint with 21 rooms containing king sized beds. Their 10 double rooms actually contain 2 full sized beds which means that, if you are traveling with a friend, you will both have plenty of room. Add to that 350 count Belgian bed linens and an array of pillows to make it feel really luxurious.
  • Great lighting in the rooms, giving you choice of cozy to well lit... good when you want to read your complimentary USA Today (delivered to your room every weekday morning).

  • 72 rooms on 12 floors and divided between 5 room types and one suite.
  • A modest fitness center on the 12th floor with exercise bike, treadmill and bench with free weights.
  • Valet parking... a must if you bring or rent a car in NYC!
  • While there is no restaurant in the hotel, they do have room service provided by Trulli's Enoteca to Go.
  • Complimentary "Grab and Go" breakfast... a small selection of pastries, coffee and tea set up in the lobby. Enough to get you going in the morning.
