California Classic.

Simple, fresh and charming is the style of this gay friendly sociable guest house. The perfect, great value base for visiting the Castro and exploring all that San Francisco has to offer.

“One of the top ten guest houses in North America.” Out and About Traveller

Location

Between the Castro and Mission districts in a pleasant residential area near Dolores Park yet five minutes walk to the buzzing Castro area with its cafés, bars and restaurants.

Well served for public transport links to the downtown area or just a quick cab ride away.

About The Owners

Bob and Bill opened The Parker Guest House in 1997 having identified the need for a higher quality place to stay for gay and lesbian travellers in San Francisco.

Bob was originally a travel agent with American Express and Bill was a real estate agent. A perfect combination of skills and experience which has helped them achieve the well deserved accolade of “San Francisco’s Premier Gay and Lesbian Guest House.”

• The very friendly and helpful staff.

• The calm and relaxed atmosphere.

• The consistency of quality and standards in terms of service and furnishings.

• The quiet private garden provides a wonderful place to relax and unwind. You may even see the odd humming bird!

• The location – round the corner from the Castro but not in the thick of it.
